A FEW FUN FACTS
I've lived in Kenya, Abu Dhabi, Portugal, and India. In the US where I've been for the past 10+ years, I've been a resident of Texas, Ohio, Illinois, Mississippi, and Missouri.
I am inspired by Buddhist philosophy.
I enjoy exploring different styles of art (e.g., Kathak, an Indian Classical dance form), crafts (e.g. stitching/crocheting), and movement (e.g., swimming).
I'm a fan of dialectical thinking, Urdu poetry, poetry as its dissected by Pádraig Ó Tuama, audiobooks by Pema Chödrön, as well as novels and shows of the fantasy/sci-fi/philosophical genre (e.g., Harry Potter and Game of Thrones [...I agree, the ending was distasteful]). My not-as-often-shared favorite author is Fyodor Dostoevsky, for his ability to plunge into the depths of our humanness with a level of clarity and detail that takes my breath away (Crime and Punishment remains one of my favorite books)!
